Having never been a senior, I don’t have much to say for an introduction to articles about the “Newark Academy Senior Experience”. Other than the (obviously true) platitudes about our seniors being a nice, outgoing, intelligent, diverse, and fun group of people, I don’t know much about senior year.
Instead, I’d like to address the majority of the student body who, like me, hope to live long enough to become a senior.
For your reading pleasure…
Ten Things to Never Say to a Newark Academy Senior
10) “The Middle School corridor is that way, honey.”
9) “So…why can’t I sit here?” (in the senior corridor)

8) “I have more of a bromance with Sammy P than Jackie Lawler.”
7) “Louise, why do you talk so weird?”
6) “I can play the piano better than Jaxon Gruber.”
5) “That’s not in dress code!”
4) “We don’t have an open campus, guys. You can’t just go to Smashburger and come back.”
3) “You can’t have that much work; it’s only Senior Fall!”
2) “It’s not hard to get into college!”
1) “Oh, sorry, I was running late! I guess I parked in your spot…hope it’s not a big deal?”
