Club Fair 2013

By Lila Rimalovski ’13, Leader of NACFCAFIC++OC

School is hard. And yes, so are rocks. But, there is one obstacle that all Newark Academy students come across. What is this obstacle you ask? It’s not Alby the dog, nor is it finding a way to connect your computer to the printers in the library, it is the mere task of getting involved.

Lucky for you, the Club Fair of 2013 holds great promises.

Backgammon Team

Also known as the JV Chess team.

NACFTN

Newark Academy’s Club For The Nude was founded during Cross Country season 2012. If you have ever seen them practice, you would understand why many of the team members are proud to call themselves leaders of the club. These young men and women found love and peace in running in their “birthday suit”. Here, the three proudly illustrate the NACFTN spirit.

The Bell Ringer’s

Due to recent budget cuts, there is a now a club to ring the bells in between periods. This club strives to inform the NA community that special schedules actually do follow a pattern.

What To Do In Global Speaker Series Club

The group strives to educate the community on taking risks, specifically on how to ask questions in front of large groups of people even if they sound stupid in your head.

Secret Spirit Judges

If you can find the table, you can sign up.

Walrus Club

Nobody knows. A quote from the president, Matt Cowen, “Don’t ask what it is. I’m not even sure myself.”

Weren’t cool enough to be a safety patrol in elementary school? Well, here is your opportunity! You get to tell people to be quiet all day. Plus, you can be the proud owner of this badge.
