As the denizens of this pristine, rigorous institute enter the remaining ¾ of the academic school year, it is apparent that there is one piece of motivation encouraging these students to work their hardest for the next few months. Some students argue that it is the Spring Dance Concert, others claim that it is fencing season, and yes, some even say Daylight Savings time. However, in a recent survey conducted by Ms. Duszak, 89% of students who come in late in the morning state that their reason for tardiness is “Can’t contain my excitement for June Term.” Last year’s Outdoor Environmental Sculpture Class was cool, and Nature Writing might have been fun…BUT! June Term 2013 will knock your socks off.

Here are a few of the new courses:

The Construction of The Atomic Bomb (Literally will blow you away.)

Taught by Mrs. Lux and Mr. Bitler, this course offers a deep investigation in the construction of the atomic bomb through interpretive dance and meditation.

How to Tell Time on An Analog Clock

Mr. Ryan delves deep into the mysteries and complexities of telling time on a non-digital clock. Class for juniors only.

The Philosophy of Philosophy

Mr. Blomn provides no explanation for this course. He leaves you with a simple question to ponder: “How far east can you go before you start heading west?”

This intensive course strives to teach those young Shakespearians how to access their inner star qualities. Retired Child-Star,  Mr. Jacoby and guest teacher, Jared Gilman, are proud to introduce this class to the community.
