By Drew Flanagan ‘19 and David You ‘19, Middle School Editors-in-Chief

At the end of last school year, Drew Flanagan ‘19 and David You ’19 were elected as the Editors-in-Chief of the Middle School Newspaper. As the new editors, they will continue to improve the newspaper club. Passing the torch from Siddarth Tumu ’18 and Charles Pan ’18, they will encourage more people to come to the newspaper club and make this year even better.

As new editors, they would like to bring a couple new things to the club. Firstly, they are trying to grow the interest in the club by creating a bulletin board in the Middle School hallway where they will showcase the articles. Additionally, they will be recruiting rising 6th graders to join the staff. The two will be putting up signs around the Middle School, in addition to showcasing current issues, in order to inspire students.

The two new editors, under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth LaPadula, will work very hard to promote the Middle School Newspaper. They are very excited to fulfill this position and they hope to see you writing this fall…and reading the newspaper in the halls!
