To celebrate Generosity of Spirit Week and look forward to many exciting community service events in the coming months, the Feature Section has decided to focus this month’s feature on social outreach at Newark Academy. From examining the Community Service Council’s developing goals to spotlighting individual contributions, it is clear that we are invested in the generosity of spirit component of our mission statement, and we are committed to making it even stronger. While we may sometimes complain about the reflection process or other aspects of community service that we perceive as tedious, we are certainly all proud to claim that generosity of spirit is a core part of our identity. It is a value that continues to define Newark Academy students beyond graduation.
