After The Last Jedi (TLJ), the eighth movie in the Star Wars saga, fans have been eager for more Star Wars, no matter how much arguing and controversy there has been over The Last Jedi. Well, our hunger has been sated! A new Star Wars movie has recently been announced – Solo: A Star Wars Story. And all of us can agree that this movie has come extremely quickly; TLJ was released in December 2017, and this movie is to be released very soon – May 24, around 8:00 P.M. EST, in fact, only five months after the release of TLJ.

Although the movie hasn’t been released yet, Star Wars fans and followers have pieced together bits and parts of the upcoming movie’s plot – not just from the official trailer, but from other information including interviews with the cast and filmmakers and short clips of the movie.

We know for certain that this movie will give us a lot more backstory about Han Solo. From the trailer and clips, we also know that the movie features Han Solo and his fellow smugglers – Chewbacca, who is 190 years old at the time of the movie, Lando Calrissian, a gambler, and another woman, Han’s childhood friend, named Qi’ra.

In the movie, we will see Han’s personality before the events of the A New Hope and the original trilogy. The movie will include Han joining a crew with the other smugglers mentioned before – Chewie, Lando, Qi’ra – and having a mentor, named Tobias Beckett.

Behind the screen and the story of Solo: A Star Wars Story, several interesting events are happening concerning the actors. Harrison Ford won’t be playing Han Solo, as he no longer desires the role or is fit to play the role, so Alden Ehrenreich will be filling in the role. Obviously, Ehrenreich won’t have the same exact look or voice as Harrison Ford, but Ford has given Ehrenreich a few tips on how to play the role of Han Solo. Chewbacca’s actor will be the same as The Last Jedi, Joonas Suotamo, but Lando Calrissian will have a new actor: Donald Glover.

In the end, though, we may as well enjoy this movie, as there won’t be another Star Wars movie until December 2019. So, go buy some tickets for Solo: A Star Wars Story now while you have the chance!
