Here are the most popular looks of the night.

Laura Harrier, actress from best drama motion picture nominee BlacKkKlansman, stunned everyone in her Louis Vuitton dress and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Her black and silver shimmery dress paired perfectly with a slicked back ponytail and fancy Bulgari jewelry as she drew eyes and compliments everywhere she went.

More Bulgari jewelry shined on actress Kiki Layne, who was nominated for multiple Golden Globes, including best picture for If Beale Street Could Talk. Her Dior Haute Couture dress was pink with a detailed, sheer top and wraps around the arms. The actress brought her outfit together with a sparkly choker on her neck and a trendy updo on her head.

Another show-stopping dress was seen on Lady Gaga, star of A Star is Born. The lilac custom Valentino Couture with matching hair stole the show. The long gown was paired with beautiful Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

Bold and daring actress, Danai Gurira, showed off a Rodarte design. A familiar face from the movie Black Panther, she went for an orange undergown accessorized with a red decal over which trailed an oversized bow on her shoulder. Not pictured are her Christian Louboutin shoes.

According to Cosmopolitan awards, the best use of ruffles goes to Lili Reinhart. Her red Khyeli Couture dress features ruffles that many people would not be able to pull off. Reinhart, however, pulled it off elegantly and beautifully.

To add to the night, Saoirse Ronan sported a Gucci dress. She showed off the deeply cut, shimmery dress with her slicked back hair.

Among these looks at the award ceremony were many others who shined just as brightly. Every actor and actress brought their own unique touch to add to the phenomenal fashion trends displayed. Along with best dressed, other outfits were critiqued and given various labels of positivity or criticism.

Billy Porter knows how to make an entrance. His Randi Rahm pink cape and bedazzled suit made quite a statement. His remarkable outfit took six months to make, but was worth effort, yielding an attention-grabbing look.

The look on actress Julia Roberts, however, created some confusion among viewers. The cross between dress and pants brought about some uncertainty. Although still beautiful, this outfit may not have been Roberts’s most successful.

In a CNN article, the ceremony was described as an event that “will most likely be remembered for its combination of fairytale gowns and classic- though no less dramatic- Hollywood throwbacks.” Although the night last year was filled with black gowns in order to honor a campaign against sexual harassment, this year’s awards contained dresses in every color imaginable and nearly every style ever created. The Golden Globes saw some dresses with unmatchable beauty while others were questionable. The night as a whole, however, was filled with beautiful ballgowns and stunning suits and a scene of fashion to be remembered.
