3…2…1, the curtain went up and the crowd went silent. The Winter Musical was an amazing performance full of laughing, singing and dancing.
There were several Middle School students who participated in the play. Zack Kissel, a sixth grader said, “The upper school students are so nice. They accept you into their family. It’s like being in one close and fun community!” Harry Echtman, a seventh grader said, “We get a lot of stage time and it’s a lot of fun doing it.”
Gabi Poisson, who is performing in her third musical in NA this year, says that this play is her favorite one so far because it is so funny and so fun to be in. She loves the songs, the music and the dancing. Lauren Katz, who is performing in her second musical, loves this musical because she thinks that it is really funny and she loves that all roles get a lot of stage time. She and Gabi are a part of the ensemble and they get to perform and sing very often.
After its opening night on February 28thThe musical was praised greatly after Amelia Evans said, “It was hilarious! The acting was amazing; I would definitely see it again.” Everyone loved it. As Peter Lu ’17 put it, “People were falling out of their chairs and clutching their bellies, it was so funny.”
The NA Musical was so much fun to be in this year. The students got to become a part of a community. They had so much fun singing, dancing, performing, and simply laughing behind stage at the plot and the jokes.
