There are many things that you need to be successful at Newark Academy, and a clean locker is one of them. No one wants to be late to class due to a “locker avalanche” or not being able to find your textbook. That is why you need a clean locker.

Clean Lockers

1. Uses shelves to hold up items

2. Lines binders up neatly, with labels facing out.

3. There are no scattered papers in-between books or on the ground.

4. Textbooks are strategically placed based on the width.

5. The objects on the locker door are placed neatly and are easy to grab.

6. Pens, pencils, and markers are easily identified and aren’t littered around the locker.

Messy Lockers

1. Piles books on top of the thin shelf.

2. Carelessly throws notebooks and binders into the locker with labels facing in.

3. Papers are everywhere and are crumpled up.

4. Texts books are thrown on top of the other books putting to much weight on the shelf.

5. The objects on the locker door are carelessly placed and are crooked.

6. Pens, pencils, and markers can not be identified and are hard to find.
