Why do you believe that your hair is your best feature?

I’m not sure, I don’t know.  Everybody says something about it.

We heard that you were in North Korea over the summer; how did the climate affect your hair?

It was frizzy. I wasn’t that sad because I was focusing on the children and people there, not my hair. It wasn’t one of my worries.

Did you ever experience fear for your hair in North Korea?

There was a time when they asked us if we wanted to get a North Korean hair cut, because there are only about twenty approved styles. And mine obviously is not approved, so I said no.

How would you feel if they made you cut your hair?

I would’ve felt sadness, a yearning to come back home.

Approximately how long do you spend each day on your hair?

10 seconds. It’s all natural.

Do you ever consider that your hair is a distraction to students in your class?

That could be possible.

If a student were to come up to you and say that your hair is distracting them, what would you say?

I’d say wait until you see my beard.

At what age did your hair start to become what it currently is?

I would say freshman year in college. My hair was very short before then, between a buzz cut and what it is now.

Like the 8th grader Vincent Andreano’s hair?

Yea, I guess. But my hair is different. I have the flow.

Do you consider yourself a lax bro because of your hair?

People confuse me about that, they think that I’m a lax bro, but I’m not. I’m a swimmer. A swim bro.

Does your hair hold you back when you are swimming?

I have to wear a swim cap. I’m one of the only males that has to wear a swim cap.

What types of product do you use in your hair?

Shampoo and conditioner. I just use anything I have. Maybe Pantene Pro-V, or Johnson’s Baby Shampoo. Mr. Johnson’s brand.

Where do you get your hair cut?

You want to know? Bangz, in Montclair, with a z. It is very chic and in an old church.

What is the number?

I’m not actually sure, but you can look it up if you’d like.

Do you think your hair affects your relationships with your friends, family and fellow teachers?

Yes, at times. But positively. It brings a smile to everyone’s face.

Do you have any advice to people who have aspiring hopes and dreams for their hair to be like yours?

It’s genetic. Grow it out, and good luck.
