The 8th Grade Student Council hosted a “Dive-In Movie” Friday February 20th in the Pool and Room 41. Students swam then watched Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. This event served as a fundraiser to raise money for the final dance at the end of the 8th grade year. This event was successful because the Student Council raised over $200 for their class. Nearly 50% of the grade attended the event, which was more than expected. All the students loved swimming in the pool even though it was the middle of winter. Sam Burggraf ‘19, a member of the 8th Grade Class and the Student Council, said, “It was a pleasure to help make the night happen. I had a great time!”

The  7th Grade Student Council hosted a screening of Despicable Me 2 in the Black Box on Friday February 20th. They served brownies and lemonade. This event was not a fundraiser and admission was free. This event was also a huge success.

Though the 6th Grade did not host a movie screening, they will have many opportunities to do so in the coming years!
