An In-Depth Study on All the Humor Writers

By Sanya Bery ’17, Section Editor

Hey hey, I’m back! I was told by the Editors-in-Chief that my next article couldn’t be self-deprecating (apparently it’s unfunny, boring and slightly concerning). But, in the midst of all this I was insulted! Can you believe it?
“Good luck writing a humor article if you can’t make fun of yourself. You’re not funny!!”
(Keep in mind this is true, I think of this every night before I go to bed, but only I can insult myself)
“Hey hey, that’s not true!”
(It is)
“Yeah it is. You’re the most unfunny humor writer.”

So, because of that scarring conversation I’ve decided to do an in-depth look at it all the other humor writers.

1. Tori Molinari

I didn’t even know Tori was a writer. So I texted Tyler, my inferior co-editor and he pulled up his conversations with her. They are as follows:

2. Benjy Berkowitz
a. Spells article “artical”
b. Does not know how to use any form of punctuation. Turned in an article that was two pages long, but only three sentences. Once said “a period shouldn’t stop the flow of true humor articals, Sanya.”
c. Sounds like the wrong answer choice on the ACT

3. Tyler Mudge

4. Amit Kundra
a. Tyler is convinced he’s a freshman.
b. Has to listen to Tyler play “good cop” and “bad cop” with himself

5. Jackson Powers
a. Is a freshman.

6. Danny Lifson
a. Writes and draws really disturbing comics
b. Posts really disturbing comics on instagram
c. Sends said comics to Ms. Galvin and then gets confused why she doesn’t give them a positive reaction

That’s it!
(This was also a roast on Jake, who is also a humor writer, but by not writing anything I made fun of him because his humor is forgettable!)
