As many of you may know, Christopher Paolini recently left the halls of Newark Academy for the frozen wasteland that is France.
He recently contacted me, and spoke of how truly different the country was compared to our own. To prove his point, he sent back some pictures he has taken for this study. I believe you will be as surprised as I am.
On the left is a picture of a lawn chair in America. On the right is what they call a chaise de jardin in France.
This next example is a toaster versus a grille-pain.
